Stress is related to both internal and external factors. External factors include the physical environment, a job, relationships, the home, and all the situations, challenges, difficulties, and expectations a person's confronted with on a daily basis. Internal factors which influence a person's ability to handle stress include the nutritional status, overall health and fitnessbeing, the ability to control stress through relaxation techniques or other strategies, and the amount of sleep and rest a person gets. Managing stress, therefore, can involve learning tips to change the external factors which confront a person or the internal factors which strengthen the ability to deal with what comes. An important goal for those under stress is the management of life stresses. Elimination of stress is unrealistic, since stress is a part of normal life. It's impossible to completely eliminate stress. Instead, a person must learn methods to manage stress so that they have control over their stress and its effects on the physical and mental health. Chronic stress ages the body and can make cells appear up to 17 years older than they really are, according to a recent study reported in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. High stress levels lowers the immune system and worrying causes blood sugar to drop, and blood pressure to rise. Stress is the leading cause of heart attack in America, and heart attacks are the leading cause of death in the Unites States.
Swedish Massage Therapy is one of the most effective methods in combating stress.
